| 87 QLD AMBULANCE |
Latest project is a 1987 Ford Ambulance , Ex Queensland ambulance service ,
it was retired in 2000 & has spent the last 5 years in private hands being neglected in the hunter valley & transporting
dogs to shows all over the country ( and yeah it was grubby!) a complete strip out of the interior & and go through with
the pressure cleaner & all is well again. Varoius rust repairs in the front pillars & sills being done & to be
done , mostly the result of poor sealing when converted by Superior in Brisbane.
Vehicle is running LPG & Petrol & mechanicaly is surprisingly healthy
with 160Kph easily reached on a test run ( on a private road of course). Gas tank is located on one side in the rear &
is being replaced by a doughnut style under the rear floor asap to free up space in the rear .
